On Tai especially likes to use his works to tell the stories of old Hong Kong, hoping to preserve the diminishing culture of Hong Kong for the next generation through miniature arts. Through the creation of miniature artworks, On Tai wishes to offer another perspective for people to look at social issues, such as housing problems, in Hong Kong. To On Tai, miniature arts are different from models, he takes interactive elements into consideration when creating his art pieces, hoping to encourage audiences to think.
